Hey hey hey --
So, Saturday was my son's birthday party. I got a cute coral striped top from Old Navy a few weeks back because the fabric was nice and light (Read: I'm a sweaty bish in weather warmer than 80 degrees) and it kind of seemed 'piratey' to me (My son loves pirates and had a pirate-themed party).
Anyway, I normally don't wear this color -- It's not that I don't like it, it's just that I don't see much of it. Blues and purples are my go-to choices for most tops. I wasn't sure what colors to put on my eyeball lids that would compliment this top -- A neutral-only look would have worked but I wanted something brighter; more festive. I didn't want to get too matchy-matchy so coral shades were out of the question. I decided to just dive head -- fine, BRUSH -- first into one of my favorite green Madd Style Cosmetix pigments, called Oz, rather than over-thinking the process (which I tend to do FAR too often).
I covered my lid with Oz (green) and then added some Dirty Beats (brown) to the crease. I blended it out some with my blendy blush (Is that a technical term? :P) and another MSC pigment called Brown Suga.
Here are the results:
I also put a crap ton (<-- another technical term) of facial primer on that day in hopes of not completely melting my facial makeup off (Which was Bare Minerals Matte Foundation and an ELF blush called 'Tickled Pink"). It worked well enough. My eye pigments stayed put, though!
I think that's all I got for now. I wish I had more for you, but uh, yeah...*crickets*
Thanks for viewing :D
